What is the Alliance?
“CARES” stands for Cancer Alliance for Research, Education and Survivorship. Scott Hamilton is adamant that cooperation and collaboration will push us closer to ridding our world of cancer. As such, our Cancer Alliance seeks to build strong partnerships with leading institutions, cancer support groups and researchers from around the globe.
Whether large or small, all organizations dedicated to cancer research, education, and survivorship has a home as a valuable Alliance partner. There’s no actual cost to be a “partner,” only a willingness to focus on early detection, advanced diagnostics and leading-edge cancer treatment in a fight to significantly improve cure rates and quality of life.
Furthermore, organizations that fund or implement research for cures, fund education and inform patients and their caregivers about cancer prevention, types of treatment options and the expected outcomes are critical to our cause. Cancer survivorship programs, whether counseling, financial assistance, or anything else that supports patients as they navigate their journey through survivorship are key stakeholders in our goals.
The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation will actively facilitate possible collaborative partnerships between Alliance partners and those organizations that have not yet joined our family of organizations. Alliance partners are encouraged to use the CARES Foundation as a conduit to link people together in the fight against cancer.
Scott Hamilton CARES is always looking to add to our family of Alliance partners. While not a comprehensive list, click below to visit some of the current Alliance partners' websites:
