“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” - Nelson Mandela
“The great aim of education is not knowledge but action.” Herbert Spencer
We believe knowledge is power. The more we know, the better we can prepare for our life’s journey. With this philosophy, it is no surprise that we believe in a comprehensive approach to educating the general public, cancer patients, caregivers, survivors and others to raise awareness about cancer prevention, wellness, and early detection programs.
SHCF hosts and participates in education forums, conferences, and events dedicated to sharing, listening, and supporting each other. We encourage you to get active in your community or join us at events around the country.
We support two cancer education websites (discussed below) that are dedicated to answering questions in a way that everyone can understand them.
